Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse & Suicide
The mission of the Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse & Suicide is clear – to prevent youth abuse and save lives. Our team is dedicated to creating awareness that 95% of abuse is preventable and providing critical resources necessary to give hope to those who have lost their way. We will work with our communities to make sure that evidence-based curriculum is in place, so both youth and adults, can be empowered to protect, prevent, and create a personal mission to end abuse, once and for all.
INDATA
In 2007, Easterseals Crossroads partnered with the State of Indiana Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services to establish the Indiana Assistive Technology Act (INDATA) Project. The INDATA Project is one of 56 similar, federally-funded projects designed to increase access and awareness of assistive technology.
RHI Sports Program
The Adaptive Sports Program at Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) is the primary provider of adaptive sports opportunities for individuals with disabilities in central Indiana (Indianapolis and surrounding areas). This program provides those living with physical disability the opportunity to participate in adaptive sports and recreation, increasing their feelings of connection, confidence, purpose, meaning, possibility, thrill, and joy.
RX Gaming
RX Gaming aims to be a resource for our community by helping to break down barriers to gaming. Members of our community that have a barrier to gaming can get one on one, in person support to help identify their barriers and overcome those barriers with adaptive equipment and techniques. We hold monthly events in our community to provide this service. When we identify a solution that works, we send that gamer home with all of the equipment that day, free of cost, so they can start playing with family and friends again.
