First Steps
As a First Steps provider in Indiana, Easterseals Crossroads is a multidisciplinary agency for Cluster G serving the following areas: G1 Hamilton/Tipton County, G5 Northeast Marion County and G7 Southern Marion County.

First Steps’ mission is “to assure that all Indiana families with infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities have access to early intervention services close to home when they need them. This is accomplished through the implementation of a comprehensive, coordinated statewide system of local interagency councils called First Steps.”

The Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services (BDDS) provides services for individuals with developmental disabilities that enable them to live as independently as possible within their community. BDDS helps people learn about community supports and residential services.
