Traditional summer day camps are not always an option for parents of children with disabilities and that is why we offer CampAbility – a day camp for children specifically designed to meet the needs of your family.
Your child (ages 4 – 10) can grow, learn and have fun at CampAbility.
This year we are offering 3 one-week sessions and 3 two-day sessions. Camp will run specific days from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., and we will not be able to provide a before/after care option this year.
All sessions of CampAbility are now full; please contact us if you would like to be added to a waitlist or if you would like assistance in finding other community camp programs.
The one-week sessions will occur Mondays-Thursdays on the following dates:
- Session 1 from June 14-17
- Session 2 from June 21-24
- Session 3 from June 28-July 1
The two-day sessions will occur on the following dates:
- Session 4 from July 7-8
- Session 5 from July 12-13
- Session 6 from July 14-15
As a precaution, we will be limiting our enrollment to 8 campers per session (instead of the usual 24). Easterseals Crossroads will plan to follow CDC, state, and county guidelines for the safety of participants, volunteers, and staff. Sanitizing and social distancing procedures will be implemented for your safety including, but not limited to, sanitizing equipment between each use, utilizing outdoor arena space, and smaller class sizes. All participants, staff and volunteers will be required to adhere to up to date CDC guidelines.
