Easterseals Crossroads is hiring Employment Consultants to provide employment services to individuals with disabilities. Job Responsibilities will include: assisting with career exploration and skill assessment; job readiness; job seeking skills; job development and job placement; job training; and support to facilitate job retention. The desired applicant will have experience working with individuals with disabilities. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. The position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule outside of the typical work week. The Adult Day Service programs serve adults with developmental disabilities. The primary function of this position to assist consumers to meet their individual goals through skills training, educational opportunities, and activity implementation. C.N.A.s are responsible to lead group and individual activities/educational opportunities/community trips while maintaining the health and safety of consumer.

Behavior Technician

The behavior technician will provide direct behavioral support services for individuals with autism and their families. The behavior technician, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Psychologist will directly implement behavior intervention and skill-acquisition plans with consumers and their families. Services are primarily clinic based, but the clinical therapist must have the ability to travel within the community to various locations and settings.

Skills Trainer – Project SEARCH

We are currently seeking an individual who can provide training, mentoring and support to interns in Project SEARCH. Ideal candidates will be able to work with interns at host business site to assist with the tasks that need to be completed within a specific rotation; assist with mobility training for new interns so they can be independent in transportation to/from the business; and work with team at host business site to develop good working relationships with hospital staff resulting in positive outcomes for interns.

Recreational Therapist

This position works with children, teens, and adults in a variety of home and community settings. Hours vary dependent on clients’ needs and case load.
