Recreation Therapist

This position works with children, teens, and adults in a variety of home and community settings. Hours vary dependent on clients’ needs and case load. Hours may consist of week days, evenings, and/or weekends. No holidays. Serving consumers in Marion and surrounding counties.  Potential to grow case loads.

Ideal candidates will:

  • Possess and maintain current certification/credentials through NCTRC
  • Have a valid driving license with good driving record and the ability to transport self and consumer throughout the community.
  • Have current CPR and CPI certification
  • Have at least 1 year experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Work well with minimal supervision.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Medicaid Waivers
  • Creative individual motivated to meet the needs of those you serve.

Employment Consultant

Easterseals Crossroads is seeking to fill an Employment Consultant position to provide employment services to individuals with disabilities.  The desired applicant will have three to five years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in employment services.  A Bachelor’s degree in a related field along with a working knowledge of Results Based Funding, Title XX and Medicaid Wavier Funding preferred.  The position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule outside of the typical work week.  Reliable transportation, a valid Indiana Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance required.

Employment Retention Specialist

This position assists assigned consumers in maintaining employment.  Develop and maintain positive relationships with assigned consumers and relevant personnel at their job sites.  Provide training, advocacy and/or support to individuals as needed on the job as well as in ancillary areas such as transportation and accessing community services.  Educate, advocate and builds natural supports with co-workers, supervisors and family members to facilitate long-term job retention.

Speech-Language Pathologist (Part-time & Temp positions)

Easterseals Crossroads is currently seeking enthusiastic and well organized, part-time, and PRN (for fall maternity leaves) pediatric speech-language pathologists with Indiana licensing to provide school-based services through contracts serving students in grades K-8.  SLPs with experience in school setting preferred, though will consider SLPs with no school experience and will consider CF candidates.  We offer competitive wages and benefits.

This position will work as part of the maintenance team providing janitorial, maintenance, landscaping and other support related duties to the building and staff.  Must have the ability to work independently and make independent decisions, must have excellent judgment and problem solving skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize and communicate effectively with staff, consumers and visitors.  Experience repairing mechanical breakdowns, plumbing, and painting is desired.  This is a full-time position with excellent benefits.

Certified Nursing Assistants

We currently have openings for dynamic, enthusiastic, motivated CNAs in our Adult Day Services programs.  These positions are full-time, day shift, no weekends or holidays with excellent benefits.

The Adult Day Service programs serve adults with developmental disabilities.  The primary function of this position to assist consumers to meet their individual goals through skills training, educational opportunities, and activity implementation.  CNAs are responsible to lead group and individual activities/educational opportunities/community trips while maintaining the health and safety of consumers.

Psychologist

The licensed psychologist will complete diagnostic evaluations, provide individual and family psychotherapy, consult with other professionals and agencies, and provide clinical supervision.

Minimum Requirements include:  Doctorate degree from an accredited program, licensed to practice in the state of Indiana as a Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP). The preferred candidate will have experience with autism spectrum disorder, behavior intervention, and working as part of an interdisciplinary team.

RESPITE CARE PROVIDER

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy environment for children with disabilities ages 6 months to 12 years old during our Parent’s Night Out evenings. Responsibilities include facilitating activities, managing behaviors, preparing snacks and maintaining cleanliness. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to read/understand and implement activities and programs. Also requires the ability to build rapport with children, families, co-workers and volunteers. Previous experience in early childhood programs preferred, but not required. CPR/First Aid certifications preferred; TB test and limited criminal history check required. This position will be approximately 5 hours per week; nights and locations may vary.
