Assistive Technology Technician (Southern Indiana)

This position will provide training, installation and configuration of adaptive computer equipment in central and southern Indiana. LPN, Adult Day Services

Looking for an energetic, enthusiastic person with phenomenal people skills for a key position working with adults with developmental disabilities. This position will assist with supervision and daily operations within the Adult Day Services program directly supporting the coordinator of services. Services in this program provide personal care, medication administration, treatments, vital signs, maintenance of ongoing health assessments, assistance with hygienic upkeep of participants and leadership of health maintenance programs and activity programming. The LPN will work within an interdisciplinary team to coordinate the holistic objectives of the program and develop plans of care. Must have valid Indiana Practical Nursing license. Coordinator, Community Services and the NEXT Project

This position will lead our Community Day Services and The NEXT Project. These programs serve children, teens and adults with disabilities in varied community-based settings. These programs assist clients to reach goals of increased independence, employment, community exploration, volunteer opportunities, personal care and assistance, and allow family respite time. Easter Seals Crossroads is seeking an employment consultant to provide employment services to individuals with disabilities. The desired applicant will have three to five years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in employment services. A bachelor's degree in a related field along with a working knowledge of Results Based Funding, Title XX and Medicaid Waiver Funding preferred. Events and Activities Coordinator

Adult Day Services is seeking a coordinator responsible for planning, implementing and coordinating activities and community experiences for adults with developmental disabilities. This position is instrumental in developing a program atmosphere that is recreational, therapeutic, social, educational, inclusive, community integrated goal oriented and well balanced to meet the diverse needs of those whom we serve. Requirements include Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist or bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation, recreation, parks and recreation, special education, adaptive sports or similar degree. Reuse Technician

The ReUse Technician will provide personal computer reuse support, training, pick-up and delivery of equipment. Additionally, this position will provide technical support to the people whom we serve. Qualified candidates will possess skills in rebuilding, repairing and reconfiguring computers. Licensed Psychologist

The licensed psychologist will complete diagnostic evaluations, provide individual and family psychotherapy, consult with other professionals and agencies and provide clinical supervision. Minimum requirements include:

Administrative Assistant - South Office

We are seeking a part-time administrative assistant who will work from the Easter Seals Crossroads South office located at 5905 South Emerson Avenue in Southport. Working hours are from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays. The preferred candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a high school education or equivalent, computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) and basic office equipment experience (i.e., copiers, fax machine). Responsibilities include general clerical duties such as copying, emailing, answering phones and routing calls. Occupational Therapist

This position provides occupational therapy services including evaluation and on-going treatment to a variety of pediatric consumers in clinical or school settings. This position works with children, teens and adults in a variety of home and community settings. Hours consist primarily of week days; no holidays. Pediatric Physical Therapist - Part Time

This position provides physical therapy evaluation and treatment for pediatric consumers, ages 3 through 18, in a clinic-based setting. Respite Care Provider

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy environment during Parents' Night Out evenings for children with disabilities or special needs ages 6 months through 12 years. Responsibilities include facilitating activities, managing behaviors, preparing snacks and maintaining cleanliness. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to read / understand and implement activities and programs. Also requires the ability to build rapport with children, families, coworkers and volunteers. Previous experience in early childhood programs preferred, but not required. CPR / First Aid certifications preferred. TB test and limited criminal history check required. Vocational Assessment Counselor

Easter Seals Crossroads is in need of an independent contractor to work as a vocational assessment counselor. This counselor will provide vocational assessment services to military veterans with disabilities including comprehensive educational and vocational assessments, vocational testing, career exploration, job readiness assessments and independent living assessments.
