Certified Staff Interpreter

This position will provide ASL interpretation for staff members and consumers in various settings. Interested individuals should be able to:

  • Act as a cultural liaison and resource to staff and the community
  • Follow guidelines and comply with RID's Professional Code of Conduct
  • Provide mentoring for interpreting students in conjunction with approved interpreter training programs

Maintenance Assistant / Custodian

This part-time position (approximately 20 hours per week) will work as part of the maintenance team providing janitorial, maintenance, landscaping and other support-related duties for the building and staff. Must have the a ability to work independently and make independent decisions; must have excellent judgement and problem-solving skills; must have the ability to multitask, prioritize and communicate effectively with staff, consumers and visitors. Respite Care Provider

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy environment during Parents' Night Out evenings for children with disabilities or special needs ages 6 months through 12 years. Responsibilities include facilitating activities, managing behaviors, preparing snacks and maintaining cleanliness. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to read / understand and implement activities and programs. Also requires the ability to build rapport with children, families, coworkers and volunteers. Previous experience in early childhood programs preferred, but not required. CPR / First Aid certifications preferred. TB test and limited criminal history check required. This position will be approximately 5 hours per week; nights and locations may vary.

Information Technology Support Specialist

This position will provide agency-wide IT support under the direction of the IT manager. This includes support of software as well as hardware-related issues involving end users at any agency-sanctioned location (Easter Seals Crossroads, Crossroads Industrial Services and Easter Seals Crossroads South) as well as remote access. BS degree in computer technology / computer information systems with four to six years of experience providing information technology support required. Licensed Therapist / Mental Health

The licensed therapist will provide direct clinical/behavioral support services for individuals with autism and their families. Minimum requirements include: Master's degree from an accredited program licensed to practice in the state of Indiana as a clinical worker (LCSW), marriage and family therapist (LMFT), mental health counselor (LMHC) or psychologist (HSPP). The preferred candidate will have experience with autism and behavioral intervention; experience with children and families; and experience working as a part of an interdisciplinary team. NExt Project - Team lead (part time)

Easter Seals Crossroads is looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated team members for a new program working with children, teens and adults with disabilities in various settings. This program works toward goal attainment for enrolled consumers in areas of independent living skills, transition to new life stages, community safety, employment skills, computer and educational skills - to name a few. Vocational Assessment Counselor

Easter Seals Crossroads is in need of an independent contractor to work as a vocational assessment counselor. This counselor will provide vocational assessment services to military veterans with disabilities including comprehensive educational and vocational assessments, vocational testing, career exploration, job readiness assessments and independent living assessments. Some local and regional travel required; must have own means of transportation. This position will work on an "as needed" basis.
