Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Easter Seals Crossroads is seeking a compassionate CNA to work in our Adult Day Services area providing assistance to participants with activities of daily living and conducting group and individual activities. Must have CNA in the state of Indiana, CPR and First Aid certification. Job requires physical activity that includes bending, squatting, pushing and lifting. This position will work day shift Mondays through Fridays and is full-time with excellent benefits.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

This position is Autism and Behavioral Support Services serves as an integral part of Easter Seals Crossroads' interdisciplinary team. This position is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of behavior support plans. A clinician in this position must also provide direct clinical/behavioral support services. This position does require an individual to have certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Utility Assembler - Crossroads Industrial Services

Crossroads Industrial Services has a full-time opening for a Utility Assembler, Mondays through Fridays, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The essential functions of the job are:

  • excellent hand dexterity and hand/eye coordination and vision
  • ability to complete any production job assignment within the department with excellent quality results
  • ability to work independently with on-the-job training in a fast-paced production environment

CampAbility Classroom Assistant

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy environment for children ages 4 through 10 years of age at CampAbility - a traditional day camp for children with special needs and disabilities. Responsibilities include facilitating & engaging campers in camp activities, managing behaviors, attending field trips, preparing lunch and maintaining cleanliness. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to read/understand and implement activities and programs. Also requires the ability to build rapport with children, families, co-workers and volunteers. The preferred candidate will have previous experience working with children. CPR / First Aid certifications are preferred. TB test and limited criminal history check required. This position will be approximately 32 hours per week; temporary summer employment.

Camp FUEL Facilitator

Facilitators work together to co-lead activities and events at Camp FUEL - a fun and unique experiential learning camp for adolescents with disabilities between the ages of 11 and 17. Prior to the start of camp, facilitators will be responsible for calling to schedule & set up field trips and special guests, as well as plan and prepare activities. Once camp begins, facilitators responsibilities include providing a safe, healthy & nurturing environment, as well as appropriate developmental experiences for the campers; facilitating daily activities & events; transporting campers to field trips; preparing lunch and maintaining cleanliness of environment; communicating effectively with co-workers, children, families, and volunteers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in education, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, or a related field; 2+ years managing a classroom or caseload; experience working with children with special needs and disabilities; CPR / First Aid certifications; and exceptional communication skills. TB test, limited criminal history check, and access to a personal vehicle for transporting campers are required. This position will be approximately 32 hours per week; temporary summer employment.

CampAbility Lead Teacher

This position is responsible for managing a classroom of children between the ages of 4-10 at CampAbility - a traditional day camp for children with disabilities and special needs. In addition, lead teachers manage and provide guidance to the classroom assistants. Other responsibilities include helping to maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment and appropriate developmental experiences for the campers. Prior experience working with individuals with special needs, classroom management experience, ability to establish and maintain rapport with children, families, peers, volunteers and program leadership. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required, CPR/First Aid certification required. CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) preferred. This position will be approximately 32 hours per week; temporary summer employment.

Marketing Development Manager

The Marketing Development Manager provides program and alliance marketing support for Easter Seals Crossroads' service lines to achieve annual census and financial targets. The primary role of the Marketing Development Manager will be to drive and execute the service line's marketing strategy and initiatives, predominantly for clinical, adult day and Speech and Hearing Resource Center. Financial Accounting Manager

This position is responsible for all daily financial operations of the agency, including the maintenance of accounting records, ledgers and consumer electronic medical records. Medical billing and credentialing background is required. The accountant is also responsible for management of accounting clerks in A/R, A/P, and payroll. This person will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to ensure that all accounting functions operate properly to allow accurate and timely financial reporting.

Assistive Technology Technician - full Time (South Bend Indiana)

Provide training, installation, and configuration of adaptive computer equipment in Northern Indiana (Preferably in the South Bend, Merriville, and/or Valparaiso area). Knowledge of computer technology and adaptations for persons with disabilities is strongly preferred. The ability to work and travel independently is a must. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience required. RESNA ATP credential preferred.

Employment Consultant

Easter Seals Crossroads is seeking an Employment Consultant to provide employment services to individuals with disabilities. The desired applicant will have three to five years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in employment services. A Bachelors degree in a related field along with a working knowledge of Results Based Funding, Title XX and Medicaid Wavier Funding preferred. The position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule outside of the typical work week. Reliable transportation, a valid Indiana driver's license and proof of auto insurance are required. Speech-Language Pathologist

Easter Seals Crossroads is searching for compassionate speech-language pathologists to join our team in providing services to children. Licensed Psychologist

The licensed psychologist will complete diagnostic evaluations, provide individual and family psychotherapy, consult with other professionals and agencies and provide clinical supervision. Minimum requirements include:

  • Doctorate degree from an accredited program

Licensed Therapist

The licensed therapist will provide direct clinical/behavioral support services for individuals with autism and their families. The position requires a Master's degree from an accredited program. Must be licensed to practice in the state of Indiana as a clinical social worker (LCSW) marriage and family therapist (LMFT), mental health counselor (LMHC) or psychologist (HSPP). The preferred candidate will have experience with autism, behavior intervention, children and families; candidate will work as a part of an interdisciplinary team.

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

This position works with children, teens and adults in a variety of home and community settings. Hours consist primarily of week days; no holidays. Serving consumers in Marion and surrounding counties. Must possess and maintain a current certification / credentials through NCTRC, have a valid driver's license and have the ability to transport self and consumers. Current CPR and CPI certifications preferred. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and working knowledge of Medicaid Waivers is preferred.

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy environment during Parents' Night Out evenings for children with disabilities or special needs ages 6 months through 12 years. Responsibilities include facilitating activities, managing behaviors, preparing snacks and maintaining cleanliness. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to read / understand and implement activities and programs. Also requires the ability to build rapport with children, families, coworkers and volunteers. Vocational Assessment Counselor

Easter Seals Crossroads is in need of an independent contractor to work as a vocational assessment counselor. This counselor will provide vocational assessment services to military veterans with disabilities including comprehensive educational and vocational assessments, vocational testing, career exploration, job readiness assessments and independent living assessments. Some local and regional travel required; must have own means of transportation. This position will work on an "as needed" basis. Minimum requirements include a masters degree in rehabilitation counseling or related field and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) credentialing or licensed occupational therapist.
