Electro-Mechanical Assembler

We are recruting Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for our Crossroads Industrial Services division. We are looking for individuals with some soldering experience who have 20/20 vision with or without glasses. Document Scanner

Full-time opening in our Crossroads Document Services area at Crossroads Industrial Services.  Skills or experience needed are:  Be able to read, speak, and understand English; be proficient in Windows computer environment; Type at least 35 wpm, alphanumeric, with 0 errors; be able to create, name, and locate folders and files on hard drive / server / network; read and recognize content of printed and handwritten documents at a level sufficient to identify and sort; demonstrate understanding of alphabetical filing and retrieval; be detail oriented to consistently complete all required preparation steps; be willing to ask for guidance in unfamiliar situations; be willing to follow directions; be multi-task oriented; possess strong organizational skills.  Physical requirements are: Possess corrected vision sufficient to accurately read fonts as small as 6 points, discern levels of contrast and a full range of colors;  possess peripheral vision sufficient to consistently visually check image quality of each page as it is shown on the computer screen while also watching pages being fed into and coming out of the scanner at a rate of 90-110 pages per minute; be able to sit and/or stand at a work station for extended periods of time; be able to use both hands, wrists, and arms sufficient to perform job requirements; be able to perform substantial repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and arms; be able to lift document stacks and/or boxes weighing up to 25 lbs. and carry them a minimum of 10 ft.; be able to perform frequent reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, and pushing.  Educational Requirement:  High School Diploma or equivalent.  Reports to Departmental Production Supervisor/Manager.

Psychologist

The licensed psychologist will complete diagnostic evaluations, provide individual and family psychotherapy, consult with other professionals and agencies, and provide clinical supervision.

Minimum Requirements include:  Doctorate degree from an accredited program, licensed to practice in the state of Indiana as a Health Service Provider in Psychology (HSPP). The preferred candidate will have experience with autism spectrum disorder, behavior intervention, and working as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Resource and Referral Specialist

Provides information on community resources and makes referrals for consumers receiving employment services.  Conducts initial intakes for new referrals. Part-time position / 20 hours per week.

Employment Consultant

Easterseals Crossroads is seeking an Employment Consultant to provide employment services to individuals with disabilities. The desired applicant will have three to five years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in employment services. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field along with a working knowledge of Results Based Funding, Title XX and Medicaid Wavier Funding preferred. The position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule outside of the typical work week. Reliable transportation, a valid Indiana driver’s license and proof of auto insurance are required. Camp FUEl Facilitator

Facilitators work together to co-lead activities and events at Camp FUEL – a fun and unique experiential learning camp for adolescents with disabilities between the ages of 11 and 17. Prior to the start of camp, facilitators will be responsible for calling to schedule & set up field trips and special guests, as well as plan and prepare activities. Once camp begins, facilitators responsibilities include providing a safe, healthy & nurturing environment, as well as appropriate developmental experiences for the campers; facilitating daily activities & events; transporting campers to field trips; preparing lunch and maintaining cleanliness of environment; communicating effectively with co-workers, children, families, and volunteers. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in education, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, or a related field; 2+ years managing a classroom or caseload; experience working with children with special needs and disabilities; CPR / First Aid certifications; and exceptional communication skills. TB test, limited criminal history check, and access to a personal vehicle for transporting campers are required. CampAbility Classroom Assistant

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy environment for children ages 4 through 10 years of age at CampAbility – a traditional day camp for children with special needs and disabilities. Responsibilities include facilitating & engaging campers in camp activities, managing behaviors, attending field trips, preparing lunch and maintaining cleanliness. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to read/understand and implement activities and programs. Also requires the ability to build rapport with children, families, co-workers and volunteers. The preferred candidate will have previous experience working with children with special needs or disabilities. CPR / First Aid certifications are preferred. CampAbility Lead Teacher

This position is responsible for managing a classroom of children between the ages of 4-10 at CampAbility-a traditional day camp for children with disabilities and special needs.  In addition, lead teachers manage and provide guidance to the classroom assistants.  Other responsibilities include helping to maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment and appropriate developmental experiences for the campers.  Prior experience working with individuals with special needs, classroom management experience, ability to establish and maintain rapport with children, families, peers, volunteers and program leadership. A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required, CPR/First Aid certification required.  CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) preferred.  TB test and limited criminal history check required.

 Behavioral Specialist

The behavioral specialist will provide direct clinical/behavioral support services for individuals with autism and their families. The behavioral specialist will conduct initial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual, family, and group therapy, as well as provide clinical supervision for registered behavior technicians. Services are primarily clinic based, but the behavioral specialist must have the ability to travel within the community to various locations and settings.

The Adult Day Service programs serve adults with developmental disabilities.  The primary function of this position to assist consumers to meet their individual goals through skills training, educational opportunities, and activity implementation.  CNAs are responsible to lead group and individual activities / educational  opportunities / community trips while maintaining the health and safety of consumers. Community Mentor – Full and Part Time

Community Services at Easterseals Crossroads has several open, part-time positions for Community Mentors.  Community Mentors provide one-on-one services and supports to assist individuals with disabilities meet their personal goals. Community Mentors assist and support individuals in being active members of their communities in addition to gaining skills to enhance their quality of life.  This position offers flexible hours, which makes it perfect for college students and for those with some free time.

 Social Work Case Manager

This position provides care coordination services for consumers and their families in a Health Home Program.  This position requires a Bachelor degree in Social Work (BSW) and a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) is preferred.  This is a full-time position with excellent benefits.

Physical Therapist

This position provides physical therapy evaluation and treatment for pediatric consumers, birth to 22, in a clinic-based setting; as well as in schools. Easterseals Crossroads provides a dynamic interdisciplinary team approach to services. Indiana Physical Therapy license required.
