First Steps
Easterseals Crossroads, is a comprehensive, private, not-for-profit, mission-driven organization with a rich 80-year history of helping children with disabilities and special needs, and their families to live better lives by providing innovative services tailored to meet individual needs. Services are accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation  Facilities)…the hallmark of quality in rehabilitation.

As a First Steps provider in Indiana, we are a multidisciplinary agency for Cluster G serving the following areas: G 1 Hamilton/ Tipton County, G 5 Northeast Marion County, G 7 Southern Marion County.

First Steps’ mission is “To assure that all Indiana families with infants and toddlers experiencing developmental delays or disabilities have access to early intervention services close to home when they need them. This is accomplished through the implementation of a comprehensive, coordinated statewide system of local interagency councils called First Steps.”
